2016 Honda Rebel lighting question

Hi fellow travelers,
I was planning to prepare my Rebel for a trip to Canada this spring. I am from Tucson, AZ, and we will start the trip here. However, there's not much time left for me to prepare my motorcycle for a trip since I will be out for business from Christmas till approx middle of February.
Anyways, I thought to ask you, folks, before I leave. I am unhappy about the light output of my stock headlight, and I thought to replace the bulb with an LED one, as long as LEDs are legal to use in Canada and they are not dangerous for the other drivers.
Can I ask you to please share your experience with LEDs? Any problem with them during the trips? Thanks.

I found an answer, just wanted to share it with you folks:

Transport Canada governs lighting on all new vehicles under Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. "GDLS headlamps have been available to manufacturers since 1996, and are legal in Canada," spokesman Ben Stanford wrote in an e-mail.

Aftermarket lighting – making changes or additions to the lights that came from the manufacturer – is regulated by the provinces and the territories.

The Highway Traffic Act also says headlights have to be installed, aligned and maintained properly so as not to cause glare or dazzle oncoming drivers. If improperly installed, maintained or aligned headlights are blinding drivers, the fine is $110.
