Sad news in from Rebecca Davidson:

"...my Father, Ross Davidson, was a very active member of HU and his travel blog is published here. He passed away on Monday and I am so grateful to be able to go back and read his stories here. If this is something that you share with other members, the obituary is below. I know he connected with many members, and even hosted a few, so thank you for creating this community that brought him so much joy.

Ross Alan Davidson, 72, of Mississauga, Ontario died in the wee hours of July 9th surrounded by his loving family at home. Loving father to Rebecca, Kristen, Eric and Emily, doting Grandfather to Leo, Sadie and Cyrus, and devoted husband to Maria Glass. Son of Dorothy and Brian Davidson (deceased), brother to Heather Davidson (deceased).

Originally from Regina, SK, Ross was a motorcycle adventurer, philosopher, car enthusiast, news junkie, fixer of all things, friend to many. There are no words to describe how much Ross will be missed.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 21st at 1:00 pm at Glen Oaks Funeral Home at 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, Ontario. Donations can be made in Ross’ name to Credit Valley Hospital to honour the exceptional care he received there."

Never knew Ross, but just reading his blogs tells you that he had a good life and enjoyed his rides. His memories will live on in his blog ... while he rides on ... away from us. Ride on fellow traveller ... ride on ...
