Wales to Naples 2 up on a 200- attempt 2
 

Hi folks-
I wrote a few times last year as I planned a trip, 2 up, on a Honda CD200T from Prestyn in Wales to Rome- now extended to Naples to see Pompey.

I'm presently back in Canada, and my Canadian partner has never seen the UK so I'm pretty square on what to show her and h0w to timetable it.

Problem is, once Rouen is reached, I'm at a bit of a loss until I hit the South near Arles and Nimes and such. Haven't been to the south since I was a kid 25 years ago.

I have no idea, and presently little enthusiasm what to see on the way down. I'm thinking a westen route- Chatres, poitier limoges, but only because it shows as relatively flat, and i seem to remember the Mark 1 Cortina didn't have such a hard time with a camper trailer and all our possesions.

Argue for an eastern route by all means, but remember we presently exceed the vehicle capacity by 30lbs, and it's a clapped out 200.

Argue for things to see on the way...anywhere near some stone age sites (where the hell is Lascaux?)- living history museums

And once we enter Italy I'll be at the mercy of the road signs
