Viaduc de Millau: for technology freaks
 

Today France has inaugurated the highest bridge in the world. It's right in the middle of France's best kept secret, Le Massif Central.

OK, it's in French, but the pictures speak for themselves.

The bridge is €4.90 toll for cars, €6.60 in summer, but the rest of the motorway is free and empty. Fantastic region to visit.
