UK export
 

Hi all ....again..
Does anyone know if there are any charges from UK customs etc for a person permanently exporting a UK bike from the UK to SA?

As far as I am aware you just send or ride the bike to SA, you might want to keep the reg doc to help registration in SA, then send the bit off that says vehicle permanently exported. If there is any chance that you might want to bring it back, sorn it and keep the registration document even if it is SA registered as well.

There's no customs duty to export from the UK
