Scotland mini tour, and whisky trail.
I have got a few days free over Easter from the 12 of April 2010 for about 5 days. I live in Nottingham and have never been that way before. I would also like to visit Nessie and maybe an island or two. I will be camping and just wondered if anyone would be interested in joining me.

Hi Flipperboy
I stay 20 miles from Inverness - have actuallly just registered as part of the community for those bikers who may be touring in the area- its along way ahead but I normally get a few days over easter - give me a call if you are in the area - I would certainly be up for a ride out or possibly an overnight camp somewhere Keep in touch chizz |
I would be intersested in this trip. Been up that way several times now, the last 3 months ago, amazing place and camping is the way to see it :thumbup1:

Went to the west coast a couple of years ago (sorry, took the car). If you make it onto Skye, there's a great remote campsite at Glen Brittle and the Talisker Distillery is nearby.
Photos here to whet your appetite: Scotland, Highlands & Islands, April 2007 - a set on Flickr Was also up there last week, north west and along the top; Ullapool, Durness, Dunnet Head, all stunning and quiet. Enjoy your trip. |

Hi,
I live near Aviemore and have not yet been able to meet any of you folks due mostly to work commitments if anyone is passing I would be pleased to join in.:wave::wave::wave::wave::wave::wave: |
Hi there, I was going to go for a trip round the Hebridean Isles this year but had to cancel due to an inconsiderate van driver who didn't like to share the road with me, (painful neck injury being the result). The idea was that due to the ferry fares being heavily subsidised up here I was able to visit from South Uist all the way up to Lewis and across to Ulapool for £75. If I can arrange the time off, and your up for it, I'd like to join you, maybe visit some of the Isles I didn't get to see this year. have a look at the ferry prices here: Official Caledonian MacBrayne Hebridean & Clyde Ferries site

Hi there, I'm up for joining you when you reach Scotland. I was meant to travel from South Uist up the Isles to Lewis and then across to Ulapool and then up and over the north coast. The ferry fares are subsidised here soit was going to cost me £75 in total. have a look at the fares here: Official Caledonian MacBrayne Hebridean & Clyde Ferries site

Not sure what I'll be doing at that time of year, but may be up for joining you for the Scottish bit of it. Might also be able to offer somewhere to crash in Edinburgh if that suits, although I am currently homeless as the roof has fallen in on the flat I was renting a room in. Oops.
