Sardinia - 4 weeks vacation
 

Hi people

In October I have 4 weeks off and I am going to Sardinia with my CRF 250L.

So far my plan is to to book a holiday home for 4 weeks (or one in the north for 2 weeks and 2 weeks in the south, but that`s plan B), do some offroad riding, but not daily, do some bathing, just relax and also exploring a little bit the island.

I was thinking to stay somwhere in the middle of the east coast, around Tortoli.

Does is it make sense? I think there are roads I am looking for, but is it also nice there for staying 4 weeks? :palm:

I traveled through Sardinia last year on my trip down to Malta.


Entered through Olbia and rode down and stayed for one week in Cagliari. There was plenty of fun riding and things to do, but I still think that 4 weeks will be too much. Maybe it's because I get bored easily, but I wasn't too unhappy to leave after a week.

I think 2 weeks would be plenty to explore the island more throughly than I did. Why not spend the other 2 week riding in either Sicily or the west cost of Italy? That is some of the best riding I have done in my life.

I am right now on Sardinia. I am staying now till end of next week close to Olbia.
The week before I did the Trans Euro Trail and before I was also close to Olbia.
The whole is just like a huge playground. So many trails and all legal. :D

I don't ride daily, but also hike, swim and relax, so four weeks are fine here for me.
