Norway. Oslo to Grotli
 

Are there any must see places on the way to Grotli or should I head up the E6 and just turn off at Otta? Travelling on a trail bike, any recommendations appreciated.

I dont know what your "must see" places might be - but I suggest you take r4 out of Oslo to approx Brandbu then r34 to Dokka, then r33 and E16 to Fagernes and r51 over the mountain area of Valdresflya. Its a much more scenic route indeed and will bring you almost to Grotli.:scooter: And its not much longer in distance.

The E6 is just for transportation only. :thumbdown:

Thank you Snakeboy, thats just what I was hoping for. I think the 51 is a recommended scenic route.

R51 is a very scenic route indeed.

You can also take the E16 out of Oslo on the west side and drive all the way to Fagernes where the r51 starts.
