Does anyone know the current situation with the flooding in Norway, I was heading there this week but may divert if it is too bad.:(

Where in Norway were you planning to be? It's quite a big country and lots of it is dry and sunny.

Floods
 

Was going to be heading from kristiansand to stavanger and lysbotn, from wednesday to friday this week. Aftenposten had annonuced flood alerts in the south this week including kristiansand. Was wondering if anyone on the ground there would suggest avoiding the area.

I left Grimstad (40 km north of Kristiansand) yesterday and had no problems. If it get much worse (which I doubt) a few roads might be closed but no big problems.

Expect rain and have a nice trip...
