North Wales, UK, bikers or events
 

Hi there

I'm a Royal Enfield rider, usually living in Delhi, India, but I'm in Eglwysbach, North Wales, until mid-January. I run a blog on Asian food and motorcycling (victoriaqueenofcuisine.com), and I'm wondering if there is anything going on with biking here during winter - eg quirky events or rides etc - or if any HUBB members run local clubs, or are vintage bike collectors, and so on.

Last year I rode from Mexico City to Panama and everyone on HUBB was incredibly helpful with any queries I had, so I thought I would just put this message out there and see what I get back ...

The big one is the dragon rally in early February. Google Conway motorcycle club. Camping will be sold out but you could either pick up a ticket on eBay mid January once the location is revealed or just turn up and get a day ticket.

There is a forum called ABR on the Adventure Bike Rider magazine site, join, its free and a good source of like minded people doing the adventure thing all winter.
