If you have any problems in Sweden don't hesitate to ask for help on Swedens biggest bike forum:
The English / non Swedish forum The link goes to the English section. It's actually a sportsbike forum, but the members are located all around the country and are quite helpful if you got problems along the road. |

Have a good trip. SKPhoto13 |
Next week...
We're heading there in a UK plated Landrover and VW Syncro, so if you see us give us a wave!
Me and the Mrs drove up to Jokmokk for the week and back down again. This time we're going all the way to the cape. So should be a good 6000km run. I'd agree with comments on the ICA supermarket, remember you can only get booze up to 3.5% in the super market so this needs to be purchased at the local Alcohol shop. Stugga's are great places to stop on the way up (about 45 quid a night), and fuel as far as we went last time up on the E45 weren't an issue. Thoroughly recommend the Wilderness Road (Take a gorgeous round trip through the pristine wilderness of the North-Swedish mountains!) highly recommended. |
Read carefully what SKPhoto13 write. He is right!
SKPhoto13 put it right.
I am from Oslo, been riding to NC 3 times. Do ride the west coast, Lofoten is a must see. Buy mosqito repellent in a gas station, of a outback shop (located almost every small town too). Bring rain gear, Camp everywhere. It´s our rights. Just stay 150 meter from houses and you can camp virtually everywhere. Or rent a small hut for 30-50Euro. Yes! Everthing is expensive so bring the tent and stove, coock your own meal. Leave most of your tool at home, you are still in Europe mate. Stop people and they will help you. In almost every country people will help you. Except from in stressy towns. it´s more important that you settle down an have a cup of tea/coffe. figure out your options, and meet new people. Have a nice trip |
