Lysefjorden, Norway
 

Has anyone here considered or been near Lysefjorden in Norway? This road at Lysebotn caught my eye...

Closed in the winter months unfortunately ( i visited Norway in November and it is pretty white n cold! ) but the surrounding area of Lysefjorden does seem to be a particularly beautiful area...

...ah, the Fv500 to Lysebotn is definitely one of the most beautiful and scenic rides in norway. Don´t miss the Kjerag Restaurant right on top before driving down to Lysebotn, it has this little balcony with the perfect view down to the Lysefjord.
On the last kilometer or so down you´re driving through a steep 180 degree curved tunnel, so don´t speed.
