Looking for MC storage close to Frankfurt

Hello Hubbers
Summer is coming to end and I are looking for a place to park my NZ motorcycle till next summer somewhere in the area's around Frankfurt, Germany.
Then to fly home on a expensive flight, jet fuel prices seem to have gone really high also.

Agreed, Stefan Knopf is the closest and likely the best choice, he is very familiar with looking after riders from other continents.

Thank you for the replies.
Nice comfry looking place.
But I, m probably not looking for a professional place.
Just somebody with space enough for one bike.

Speaking as someone from far enough north that I park up my bike in a professional storage place every winter... Yeah you do want a professional. :) A place with guaranteed temperature and humidity, and a battery tender for the bike, and commercial insurance. That's worth the ~1 eur / day that they charge over the winter season.

Speaking as someone from far enough South that has burnt though a small fortune on airfares this year ( had to make a emergency trip back in the middle of the trip also) with now sky rocketing air fares to get back.
Plus very limited choice of flights because covid effects on airlines destinations down to the far south.
30 hours via Hong Kong so can,t have a stopover there yetdue to China restictions as much as I would love to.

My MC is 30 years old so not really in need of professional luxury care.

Not sure I agree with you.

My MC is 22 years old, and I store it at a dealership in Europe every winter.

The battery gets maintained, and the dealership carries out any necessary maintenance (oil changes, new tires, etc.) over the winter. When I show up in the spring, I just get on it and ride.

Everyone has different priorities, for sure, but for the €1 a day it costs on average to store a moto over the winter, I think it's worth it.

Does he charge more than others? I thought his rates were about the same as a storage locker.

Have you found a place? And have you bought your ticket already?
If not: What about Munich. A quick check shows flights from around 700 Euros (with 2 or 3 stops).
You could store your bike in my garage. In company with my two bikes ;o) Battery-charging no probs.

PM me. Cheers, Hans

Found a place

Hello Hans
sorry about a slow reply
I found a place , a warm dry place next to someone elses motorcycles who didn,t mind having a extra battery to maintain.
I prefered to make more personnel contacts.

Not sure which place you searched for airfares, four flights to get home.
then two more flights to getback to work later.

I,ll send you a PM

Thank you for your offer
