looking to hire car in UK from someone most of Jan/Feb
 

Hello! I'm thinking on visiting friends in the UK approx Jan/Feb. In the past, other friends added me to their car insurance so I could use a car they own but do not use much. In this case, my friends' car insurance company does not take US/international driver's license, but rather UK/EU licenses only. I'm thus looking to rent an underutilized car from someone else if their insurance co accepts US/international driver's license. I will of course pay the insurance premium bump for the duration I'm added. Rates from the traditional car rental companies have spiked into eye-blistering territory since COVID, so thinking on plan B that connects dots for everyone.
