Looking for Bike Storage in Istanbul
 

Hello All,

I have been stuck in Turkey for the past couple of months waiting, like everyone else to get back to some sort of normal. I have been in Antalya, a nice place to be stranded, but last night I saw an available flight back home to the US from Istanbul on 16 May. Apparently, this is the only flight out until July, possibly later.

Now I am looking for a place to store my bike, possibly for a long while, until I can return and pick up traveling again. I could leave the bike in Antalya, but it seems difficult to find transport from here to Istanbul (I do have permission to travel) so I will need to leave the bike in Istanbul so I can easily get to the airport.

I am waiting on a reply from a shipping agent in Istanbul who has tried to help me ship the bike (with no luck) to see if they have storage facilities, but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I would give Kros in Antalya a call. (In 2014 this was a father - son operation and the son speaks very good English.)

I rented a bike from Kros in Antalya in 2014. I found them to be reasonable, honest and helpful. They have connections and local knowledge and I would guess that they might be able to offer some assistance.
