Small update:

Bike got examined and insurance company of the third party claimed it's total-loss.
This means my insurance doesn't want to transport it back to Belgium.
They say they can sell the "remains" as "scrap" .... WTF? :cursing::censored:
It seems that the cost of fixing the bike is more than the value of the bike after fixing it.
It would be around 6000 Euro, their expert said.

Anyway, I made them reconsider and now I'm getting a letter in my mail (hopefully tomorrow) which is going to shed a better light on the whole situation.

My trip to SE-Asia is getting really close (in 8 days) and still no date on getting the bike back, but there's hope.

Was thinking of getting it back myself but then my van broke down so that makes it a bit more cumbersome.

I got my bike back! :D

Had to go get it myself so insurance didn't want to pay for the transport.
Just showed up at the garage, asked them for my bike, showed them the papers and I could push it in the van.

Although they claimed it's total-loss, the damages are repairable.
Bent sub-frame, need to replace left engine cover, tear in the exhaust so I guess that needs to be replaced as well, clutch handle (and cables I guess, will put in two as a backup), speedometer, windshield, and maybe something with my front light, it's bent a bit.
Also need to straighten the rear brake lever.

The garage guy told me it was all doable and he would go looking for cheap/2nd hand parts.

I left on my Asia adventure (well, flying to BKK in a couple of hours) so won't see the bike for a couple of months, but at least I know it's going to be ready and waiting for me when I come back.
