June 2025-Bike rentals in Ireland/Northern Ireland
 

I am going to Isle of Man in May for the IOM TT race. I will be bikeless there. But after the races, I would like to rent a bike in Ireland or Northern Ireland for 7-10 days. The ridiculous prices I've found for available bikes tell me to ship one of my bikes, or fly to another country I want to see, and rent there. Is the area just weak on rental shops? The IOM was a late decision. But while I'm across the pond, I want to ride previously unvisited areas.

Yeah, not much rentals. Like 5 shops for the whole country. and Ireland is expensive in general. If you want to ride more than 5 days - ship your own bike

I found a couple shops in Belfast that were still on the internet, but closed. I did find a shop near Limerick that had a RE Continental GT 650 available. I will fly back to Dublin June 4 and find a bus to take me there. After renting a Royal Enfield in India, I said I would never ride another. But when that's all I can find, I prefer it over a car.
