Next week will begin trip from Finland via Russia to Georgia.

Green Card is not valit in Georgia.

Can you tell, where can I get insurance for a motorcycle and how much does it cost?

We finished our tour in Georgia 2 weeks ago. We bought our insurance online before we go there, but you can also buy it after you crossed the border, there are offices where you can buy it. It costs 20 lari, about 7 euro.

And dont worry if you can not find exact model of your bike, just be sure registration number is correct.

I was in Georgia 2 Werks ago. Bought insurance at the border for 20 lari (not sure about the price).

At Batumi border the insurance office is somewhat hidden inside the official passender Hall. After crossing the border, park your bike, turn back and take the left enterance. Explain to the guard that you need insurance. The office offered to change money, too and offered a better rate than the exchange offices outside.
