Which is the best city to get the visa for Iran in Turkey? Ankara or Istanbul?

Ankara seems a good bet. I got my transit visa there no problem and people were picking up tourist visas while I was there too. It was pretty quiet too, not mant tourists in Ankara so shorter queues perhaps?

Istanbul or Ankara. Got ours in Istanbul with minimum fuss and no real problems but that was over a year ago. The political situation over the nuclear issue has really made getting a visa hard. I have heard of plenty of people bein turned down flat so if you are on a UK passport don't hold your breath! Not a great situation at present...
