Germany (Berlin) Traveler-friendly mechanic?
 

Hi all,

Does anyone know a traveler-friendly mechanic in Berlin?

We have two GB registered BMW F650 GS bikes that need to be fixed and prepared to pass the strict German TUV regulations for a paragraph "21 Vollgutachten" so the bikes can be registered here.

If we went for the Vollgutachten (which can cost $$$) now, the bikes would fail. Mechanics here only fit original parts (ours are BMW, so $$$) in order that they can guarantee the work. So we would like to do everything we can ourselves.

Do you know a mechanic that would be happy to assess what needs doing to pass TUV and help us with all the things we can't do ourselves?
