Ferry to Lanzarote
 

Thinking about popping over to the islands from Spain.
Any tips on sights, camping, island hopping etc?

That will be a heck of a long (2 days) and expensive ferry ride. The Spanish government subsidizes ferry transport for residents of the Canary Islands, but not for non-residents.

I think it would be a lot cheaper and a lot more pleasant to simply fly into the Canary Islands and then rent a bike there.
