Disposing of car in Romania
 

Hi
Doing a one-way car trip to Romania in the summer.
If the car makes it.....what's the best way to get rid of it in Romania.
There's a very good chance it will arrive in good order so would be a shame to scrap it. Has anyone flogged a UK registered car over there?

Plenty of Brits in their camp that would love a brit registered car.

You can sell or scrap and EU registered car anywhere in the EU as far as I'm aware of.

If not, grind off the numbers, remove the plates and give it to a Gypsy.

Then sorn it. :oops2:

Funny you should say that Ted, when I crossed into romania there were shed loads of UK reg plates as far as the eye could see....... All owned by misunderstood thieving twxts :innocent:. I would just bang on the door, flog it and then send in the v5 to show permanenly exported.
