makin bacon

OK buddy ,I really needs to know - does bacon glow in the dark ?
What is the half-life of streaky ?
Does a bacon and egg sandwich fit in a touratech box ?
Do adventure riders use flipfront helmets so they can eat bacon sandwiches whilst riding ?
Do you carry bacon to bribe border guards ?

PM'd you by the way !

Mavis, once you get there I believe there are organised caoch tours... you can't actually ride into the area yourself.

I believe you can get the same effect by eating too much readybrek

(only those of a certain age may understand that!)

My brother and I were in Kiev last December and wanted to visit Chernobyl. Unfortunately we missed out as we didn't have enough time to get the paperwork done. You'll need about 5 days to sort out the paperwork.

The company we talked to was SAM Travel Company: Chernobyl tour from SAM travel company Ukraine

hello,

as far as i know, the area around chernobyl is still a no-go.

still, it seems possible to go there. i know of a woman from ukraine who went there by motorcycle (KIDDofSPEED - GHOST TOWN - Chernobyl Pictures - Kidofspeed - Elena).

she had the option to go there because her father worked for some authority or something, so she could get a "permit" to go there. she took a geiger counter and other nuclear measurement tools, and she recommends strongly to go alone, as the dust raised from any fore-runners may be strongly toxic.

just read the website mentioned above and make up your mind...

good luck!
