Bucharest to Tbilisi
 

Hi All,

Just looking for a bit of advice really...

Im looking at travelling from (as the title says) Bucharest to Tbilisi next June roughly.

Looking for any and all info on it! places to go/see and best route.

I presume the best was would be to go south through Bulgaria and then into turkey, all the way across the north and the sea and then into Georgia.

but anything would be great...

Also, my end point has to be Tbilisi, but I dont need to start in Bucharest. Open to other options as well!
was thinking about maybe starting in budapest instead...

I think you don't have much choice Raab...

but just ride through Bulgaria and Turkey.

In Turkey you can go down to Canakkale, Eine, Ayvacik, Edremit, Balikesir, Susurluk, Karacabey, Bursa, Inegol, Bozuyuk, Bilecik, Pamukova, Sakarya, Duzce (E5), Bolu (Karacasu, Golcuk Milli Parki), Bolu Yedigoller Milli Parki, Taste delicious food in Mengen, Caycuma, bartin, Amasra (Taste delicious fish along the coast as often as you can), Cide, Inebolu, Sinop,
After Sinop don't take the new highway but the old road. So you can see much more...

Samsun, Unye, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Rize (don't miss Husrev in Cayeli and ask their favourite food), Pazar, Hopa.....
