Belgium + Holland = End of March

My first 5 day trip on the ER5 to Europe....

So...

Where are the best roads in Belgium? Proper stunning views please, and lots of them!

Similarly Luxembourg?

And for my final question, any bike friendly hotel or hostels in either?

Thanks troops

Luxembourg ...........not likely !

Based on my experience on several occasions, there's nothing good I could tell you about Luxembourg, unless you are into to dog s**t in some way?
There are many places far more pleasing in my humble opinion.
Possibly someone will tell you otherwise.

The best bits of Belgium are in the east, the Ardennes. Try this route; Get to Namur as quickly as possible and then go off motorway to La Roche En Ardenne, Bastogne, then cross into Luxembourg and head for Echternach then either Vianden or Ettelbruck. From Ettelbruck you could cross into Germany and head up the Mosel Valley from Trier to Koblenz.

Totally agree with all the above, the roads around Bastogne are great. Bastogne is also a lovely place to stay with a nice square full of cafe bars, lots of historical culture from the war too if you are in to that

I can show you a nice route on Google Maps in the southern tip of Belgium, the area around Bouillon, Herbeumont...

I do !
I spend a lot of time in Luxembourg because it is only a few hours from my home in The Netherlands. Luxembourg has very good, well maintained winding roads, beautiful castles and nice little villages with friendly people. Good and not very expensive restaurants, good beer and very cheap fuel.
I recommend the Pension Motorhotel The Mill in the Mullerthal because it is a biker friendly hotel. Their website is www.pensionmotorhotel.com

Check the travel page on my website for some trip reports about trips to Luxembourg. jkrijt.home.xs4all.nl/trips/index.shtml

Enjoy Luxembourg !
