offroad trail looking at the map in my country. I can advice you for some trails I have done in Slovenia and Croatia and also to avoid area in Croatia of mines-fields. Where do you intend to start your journey and which bike do you ride? AnteK, XTZ 660 |

What you'll need is a decent map and maybe a map for the GPS (http://www.navigo-sistem.hr/kategori...GORIJA_ID=130). Also, mind any gravel roads in Bosnia as it could lead you into a lot of trouble. Drop me a mail if you need further specific details. |

In Slovenia road to mountain Stol over Kobarid - start at the border line Učja and finish on the other side in village Sedlo. Also, do trip from Idrsko to Livek and than to Kolovrat, than all the way to Nova Gorica following main gravel road that curves over Soča valley. In Croatia stick to Velebit region - start from Senj to Sv. Juraj, than into mountains in direction to Krasno, turn right at Oltari to Zavizan, continue to Veliki Alan ( probably the best view in Croatia- straight above see at atitude around 1400 meters, you can count islands ). Turn back to Stirovaca, Kugina Kuca and Dabar tunnels. Catch coast again in Karlobag and continue southern to Obrovac, then turn left into mountains to saddle Mali Alan, again fantastic view over see. Stict to the road in that region, surrounding is full of mines fields left from last war. There is a lot of nice gravel roads in region of Lika. If have time and is along your route, do trip to the top of Biokovo mountain above town Makarska - curvy narrow paved road to the top and again nice view to the Adriatic see from approx. 1762 meters above see level. In Montenegro do trip in region of Durmitor, a lot of gravel roads in various conditions. Obtain a detail map for Montenegro. Best regards, AnteK, XTZ 660 |
