Aussie broken in Italy
 

Hey guys

I've been on the road for the past few months, riding from Australia to England with my father on a pair of KTM 625's. Unfortunately mine has recently developed a bad knock in the bottom end of the engine.
We are currently in Italy, down near San Marino. As we are less than a week out from our planned arrival in England we dont want to bother stripping it apart here to try and fix. Instead, we just want to get it to England where we have family and contacts.

So I am thinking of putting it on the motorail train that leaves from Bologna (150kms north), however, it only goes as far as Dusseldorf in Germany. From there it's about 400km to Calais in France where I can put it on the ferry to England.

If anyone has any ideas on cheap ways to get it to Calais I'm all ears. Or if anyone could help out or know of anyone that can it would be greatly appreciated.

I'll be driving a car towing a 3 bike m/c trailer from very close to Dusseldorf in Germany to England, most likely some time in September, but can't give you a definitely date at the moment. (It's a long story..., best discussed via a voice chat on Skype or WhatsApp)

Currently there are already 2 bikes on this trailer (a DRZ400 and a CCM404), so it might be a bit cozy on there, but I recon they'll fit and I assume you're not to precious regarding the cosmetics, having watched your video :innocent:

To the OP: Presume, judging by the lack of response, you sorted your situation.

FWIW, I'll be definitely travelling with the car and trailer from the Dusseldorf region of Germany to the Midlands and North West of England in the middle of the September. Space for a slim/dirt-bike size bike on the trailer....
