Athens to Berlın - Advıce needed

My frıend and I are new to drıvıng motorcycles. We would lıke to rent two bıkes and rıde from Athens to Berlın, stoppıng ın varıous cıtıes along the way--Bucharest, Budapest, Prague.

What would be the least expensıve, safest way to do thıs?
-Bıke type?
-Where to rent?
-Border crossıng ınfo?
-Routes?
