Albania Border Insurance
 

I was charged €50 at border for insurance because no green card as Carole Nash would only give me 1 for Croatia and only for 2 weeks and I had to pick date and have been travelling aimlessly for 2 months
No office at border crossing from Greece and had to call agent
I had no choice really as had paid for hotel in FYROM
I want to go to Albania but can't afford more like this
Any idea of costs or which orders have sales for insurance

Do you mean you were charged for insurance entering Macedonia and want to know whether you'll have to buy insurance to go into Albania?

I came down that way in April/May, got charged the same entering Macedonia from Greece (no office, had to wait for agent), but didn't have to buy any insurance entering Albania from Kosovo, strsight through at the border, no fuss.

Do you need border insurance for Macedonia, or Albania? I live in Macedoinia and let me know if I can be of any help! I'll PM you my cell.
However, I think if you do not have the EU Green Card insurance, you might be stuck by paying at every border of each country separately.

what kind of an insurance did you get when entered Macedonia? What does it say on it?

Maybe this would help, although we need Green Card when we enter Kosovo for sure!
