Hi, would like to know what people prefer in Western Route from Marokko to South Africa by LR Defender: Tubeless or radials? We used radial coming up to Spain but had not so good experiences in Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan. Any comment please?

We drove our Michelin XZYs tubeless thru 60.000km or so of Africa, and would go tubeless again next time too. BUT, we had several tubes with us, just incase a sidewall was ripped etc. Never needed them though.

i aree totally tubeless with a couple of spare inner tubes, and a repair kit..though i never needed any of them..i was on BFG AT last trip and have just put them on for the next
