I believe they gave me new injector tips, they were £60 each (£240) + labour costs, unfortunately it took them a while to find that this was the problem, so i would have been happy to have paid the labour on just fixing these, but i paid for extensive fiddling around by the mechanics, before they realised this was the problem.
This seems to be the problem, its not expensive when you know what the problem is, but finding the problem, seems to take them a long time.

If you have the smoky issue, just get them to change the injector tips (or even recon them is only about £20 - mine were beyond recon) as opposed to them checking everything and having your van in the garage for a week!!!
