iveco 4010w dampers
Hi folks
went to iveco to as usual ended up parting with one kidney and an arm asked for quote on four dampers nearly 800 quid. Emailed emu shocks no reply, any one got any advice, manufacturers or cheaper options without sacrificing quality got any thoughts on poly bushes thanks mark |
I've had good luck with Konis over the years but I don't know if they do one for the Iveco.

Yep, Koni
Hi
Koni shock ref 82-5162 goes straight on to the front, no farting around. They're adjustable too (although you have to take them off to adjust them). There's probably a reference for the back (if it's not the same) but I don't know it and anyway the leaf pack damps quite a lot so flashy shocks on the back won't damp the same way as they would on a coiler... Happy hunting Luke |

Hi contacted Koni today , they said they are out of stock/ deleted item. Koni will however reproduce for a minimum order of 50, so still on look out as I dont need 50 just 4

Powerdown front shocks. Part No "RT102M1"
|
Thanks got the details see below
however 20 mm shorter than standard do you think it will make much difference? Any idea if they are much better than standard? Hi Mark The specs for the RT102M1 are :- Extened lenght Compressed lenght Dust shield OD Body OD Bush ID 514mm 329mm 63mm 56mm 16mm The specs for the 733223 are :- Extened lenght Compressed lenght Dust shield OD Body OD Bush ID 660mm 425mm 72mm 64mm 16mm The main difference between our shocks and Iveco shocks are that ours have slightly stronger valveing for the slightly rougher roads here in Australia, which in turn makes them a more tougher longer lasting shock for the smoother English and European roads.
