Budapest-bamako vehicle choice
 

Hello chaps!

After some advice/info for vehicle choice for this rally.
The rally itself is only 9k km! but we have the miles to the start from near London! and the drive back again.
So a 10k mile trip really!

Ogling over land cruisers, but they are out of our budget.
Looking at around £2.5k ideally, this isn't that strict though!

Started looking at fourtraks, pajeros/shoguns and now nosing at hilux surfs.
The rally will be done with three of us in the one vehicle, competition class.
But I think the main obstacle is sand?

Any advice on vehicle choice and info much appreciated!
