Alloy Rims
 

A couple of weeks ago I was going very slowly on a forest service road with large rocks and suddenly had a flat. Yesterday I found out my alloy rim cracked. My very knowledgable friend told me alloy rims break very easly if they catch a rock right. The lesson here, use steel rims only if going off road. I may add I have been riding in/ driving 4WD vehicles my whole life and this is the first time it has happened to me, but why not eliminat that one potential problem when in the middle of no where.
