Heated grips

Hello All,

I made the huge mistake of fitting Oxford hot grips to our bikes, both push button controllers have failed and to be honest - Oxfords after sales stinks.

Can anybody point us in the direction of another brand that's reliable and works well.

Cheers all

Paul

There are a few posts on this issue ... the oxfords are fine, you have to open the closed units and fill them with sealant, then close them up again to make them properly waterproof - then they work like a charm.

If Oxford had of filled the unit with sealant during manufacture maybe all would be fine - glad yours work like a charm, mine will be in the bin as soon as I find another brand.

You could buy a BMW. They come standard on most models. (haha!!)

I just ordered some off ebay. My first set I bought off ebay were some small name brand and they worked fine until I ripped them off after a year to do bike maintenance.

Just ordered a new set off ebay, the brand was SPI and cost just under $30. Will post soon how they go when I'm setup with them.

We have had fantastic use out of our Hot Grips that we installed many years ago. I especially like the infinitely variable controller.

Quality product IME.
