scala rider Q2
 

hi all
a word of caution ,having returned from a four week trip to scandanavia.i have to say i am dissappointed in the scala rider Q2/it just could not deal with rain,any rain from full on torrential rain to ordinary everyday dirty weather/i know the smallprint says it is not waterproof but come on unless you only travel in the sahara i would pass on this product and check out the other comm products available.

Ive had mine a while now and used it in some horrible weather with no problems.

ive got one aswell not used it in heavy rain or over bad weater but reckon they could do somethin about the sound quality,i like a bit a bass in my beats...plus when ever i try and answer a call the caller can never seem to hear a word im sayin???anyone else having the same probs???

when my scala was working i had it connected to a zumo550 and mobile phone.i used the remote phonebook feature to control organize receive and make calls using the zumo.problem was volume and reception was difficult to correct or adjust .the person you were talking to might only barely hear you or not at all.very frustrating.in my opinion the level of adjustment just was'nt good enough for use in most everyday situations.i had gone with this bluetooth as it appeared to have the features i was looking for.as it happens bottom line bluetooth yes please but maybe a couple of years more down the road.

after 4 months of use my scarla rider o2 has finally thrown the toys!cant seem to get the raido to work anymore but did manage to get the sound sorted was a setting on my zumo 550.the headset still works with the mp3 player but using the phone is a nightmare even riding 40/50 round town,unless its just 3 mobile which wouldnt suprise me......
