How to mount a CB

Hi all,

We are going to fit CB radios to our bikes. As they are obviously not waterproof what is the best way to mount them? No fairing to speak of (DR650SE).

I looked at Pelican cases, but they don't make one that opens at the small end. Does that sort of box exist? Am I barking up the wrong tree?

Perhaps any old solid plastic box with a bag over the top would do?

Any ideas?

There is the pelican 1420.

But could be a little on the large side...

Hello. Maybe try a shop that deals with marine radio. Haven't tried it myself, but it's the first place i would look.
Good luck!

Thanks for the tips. I'll probably end up putting them into topcase or tankbag. I don't think beeing able to see them is crucial and I won't need the controls either, once they are set. Hopefully... :-o
