Not wanting to drill holes in my lovely GS and finding the under the seat power outlet a bit inconvenient I decided to try my hand at designing a bit of a better option that is useful for the Sat Nav and can also be used to power up items in my tank bag, the result is below. I've road tested mine for about a year now and it has risen to the challenge with flying colours surviving a flood of biblical proportions in the mountains of Slovenia without faltering!

It places the power socket in a convenient position where you can see it and access it easily.

Please note that the price is for the bracket only and does NOT include the 12v power socket, (these are readily available for about £4)

The bracket is fitted in about 5 minutes using the fixings already in place, simply undo the bottom bolt and slip the bracket in place! (I just added a bit of Loctite). It is made from precision drilled stainless steel. The hole is 28mm and fits a standard marine 12v power socket.
