Scooter Rental in Guadalajara near the end of April

Hey all, I'm gonna be in Guadalajara from April 29th to the 2nd of May and I'm looking to rent a scooter (or small motorcycle) for at least a couple days. Anyone know a good company that can provide me this service? Thanks!

Anytime I am in GDL I bring my own ,just like most folks who post on this site , no need to rent . But there are some sources for rentals . Some are obviously aimed at the customers looking for big impressive bikes where the money is made ,but there should be some that offer the small style scooter and pizza bikes.

Here is a link as a place to start your investigation , sorry I can’t be of more help. This will be a good way to learn some practical Spanish:scooter:

Thanks for the reply! I may end up not even renting a bike, but I'll keep trying.

I do not have scooter but I do have a Yamaha XT250 that I can loan you when you are here. I live about 30 min south of Guadalajara. You will have to pick it up and return. No rental charges but I do want a refundable deposit in the event of an accident or theft.

Bienvenidos a Mexico!

That is extremely nice of you. I am going to have to decline though as I would prefer to put all the liability on a company in the event of a problem.

The liability is on the driver. I can inform you that the driver goes to jail and not the rental company. If the rental company has a valid insurance policy with an amparo in place then maybe the driver can get out of jail in a couple of days, best of luck.
