Nuevo Teapa-Cosolacaque closed with roadblock at Minatitlan
 

Veracruz CNTE in that region along with a few indigenous groups have put up a 3 day bockade at the point in the thread title. There is talk they will also close secondary routes, too.

We are currently in Acayucan, headed either for Villahermosa or San Cristobal, depending on road closures and the weather. Your information has been very helpful as we are feeling our way along at about 300km at a time. Thank you.

Great! Slow going, but at least on the gulf side there is no shortage of fuel for the time being.. This roadblock is a strange one. Not sure if it is meant to create future fuel shortages.

Rode through a road block on the cuota between Minatitlan and Villahermosa today. Very grim and tense, police present, we were very politely let through without delay. All Pemex's were open, no long lines although in Acayuacan there were pickups full of gas cans "filling up". Road construction in Villahermosa, however, is horrendous!
