LA to Guatemala in September
 

Hi everybody, I'll be riding from LA to Guatemala starting Sep. 9. I'll take the central route in Douglas AZ/Agua Prieta and then continue to Durango, Puebla, Oaxaca, San Cristobal. I live in Antigua, so that's my final destination. If anybody wants to join me along the way let me know. Cheers.

Hi! Was just thinking of doing the same route.

My girlfriend and I are planning to go on a 6 weeks vacation on September, somewhere on the globe..

One option was to get to LA, buy a bike and go through Mexico to Guatemala and sell it there and get a ticket back to LA.
Do you know if it's possible? Is that doable in a 5 weeks period?

Los Angeles CA , USA to Antgua Guatemala is easily done in 5 weeks . It is the prep work of finding and buying a bike , putting it into your ownership in California and selling it on Guatemala which will eat some valuable time.
If you get the bike found and bought and registerd
before you arrivev it will be quicker .
