Help please - buying in Panama / selling in El Salvador
 

Hi friends,

I'm travelling solo from Europe to Central America in a few weeks. I hope to buy a second hand bike in Panama and ride it through to El Salvador two months later.

Question - will I be able to sell the bike at the end of the trip and leave the country by air ?

All advise would be greatly appreciated.

You won't be able to sell in el Salvatore legally. You could conceivably sell in no man's land between the borders.

You probably won't be able to buy a local bikein panama either on tourist visa.

You can buy in Costa Rica as iI tried todaybut they are saying three weeks which is less than my visa eeven though my research said two weeks.
