Ferry from El Salvador to Nicaragua
 

Hello friends! My husband, our friend, and I are riding our DR650’s around central and South America. We’ve heard from a few people, and it’s been mentioned on other forums, that there is a ferry from La Union, El Salvador to Potosí, Nicaragua however we haven’t been able to find the actual company itself that will take motorcycles. Does anyone have experience with this? Worse case scenario we ride into Honduras, but we’re pretty curious about this ferry. Thanks y’all!

not exactly a ferry. Ruta Del Golfo. fairly certain they wont take your bikes.

the promised ferry service by a rather large ship back in late 2013, never materialized.
