Buying in El Salvdor & selling in Panama
 

Hey guys,

I'm, a surfer guy from germany, about to start a trip from El Salvador to Panama and I would heavily like to do it with a motorcycle. :)

Do you have an idea how the paperwork for the registration and insurance has to be done after I managed it to buy a motorcycle in El Salvador?

For the traveling i am going to add some kind of surfboard-rack to the side of the moto.

Aftwards I'm interested, if it is possible to sell the moto in Panama legaly.

The trip begins on April, 2nd and will last until the end of June.
I am going to use a standard 90d visa for traveling.

For buying and register a salvadorean plate motorcycle no problem.
For selling a salvadorean plate motorcycle in Panama you would need a lot of luck.
Remember its only 3-4 days riding back from Panama to El Salvador. It should be a lot easier to sell here.

Do you know if it is possible to unregister the plate from outside of your country, or do I have to get the plate to el salvador to unregister it?
I'm asking, because it might be easier to sell the motorcycle without a registration.

Can you tell me where I do have to register a motorcycle?
