I bought these in February:

Pharao Luxor II. Ventilated, very sturdy, several pockest and hopefully not too hot. I thought about getting kevlar jeans and a leather jacket but eventually went with new pants for my old jacket. Maybe next time, when replacing both the jacket and the pants, I'll go with something less clowny ;)

I have an old pair of the HG Rallye LC pants, they are pretty versatile, zip out waterproof lining for cooler weather and they have a little zip open mesh flap above the knee for warmer weather.
Hip and knee protectors and leather on the arse and knees.
I think HG stuff is sized small TBH

"Clowny frowny" ...I think they look sharp :thumbup1:. I bought my wife an earlier version of Pharao gear. So far it held up pretty good, including hot (Florida) and cold n' rainy (Alaska) riding.

True. If you're sitting in a cafe by the St Lawrence eating a sugar dusted croissant and taking a first sip from an espresso and find the coffee burns your upper lip, Geoff ain't the kinda guy who's gonna step over and hug you.

A tip however: If you're in a distant land and riding 175m from the back of an armoured SUV and you see Geoff sitting on the tailgate taking the safety of his Minimi, then I suggest you brake...quickly.

"Akito" desert Pants with liner removed & vents open are my trade-off pants of choice...a tad safer than my mankini
