Kevlar jeans or chinos
 

Hi all,
I know i should have gotten them while I was at home or whatever.
Wandering if there is anywhere in Israel - Tel Aviv or Egypt - Cairo where I might be able to pick up some kevlar jeans or chinos.

I don't know of any dealers round there but I can tell you I bought some Draggin cargo pants and they will post worldwide. They have a fairly wide lower leg too, which is handy if you want to wear them over boots.

Or you could try Hood jeans, UK based and over half the price of draggin and just as good. Very helpful company

I have had a pair of the Roadskin paranoid jeans for the last few years and used them on my trip in 2016 on Route 66. From heavy rain outside Chicago to 109 degree heat in Arizona they were great. I have just bought a new lighter pair to ride around the world from May this year. They sell direct to keep prices down and make safety clothing for Police and Fire services. Hi, the only bike shop I can think of in Cairo is KTM in Heliopolis , I’d have to dig the GPS coordinates when I’m back home next week. Not sure it’s still open though. Therés a Harley dealership in Zamalek North of 26 July overpass next to the South enf of Ahmed Heshmat street. You may also want to PM Omar Mansour from Alexandria, he truly is knowledgeable of the local bike scene, maybe he has a used pair fitting you ? My guess is you should be able to find in Tel Aviv. I’d suggest to get in touch with Israel based members of the HUBB and ask around. Seek and you shall find. Good luck!
