Joe Rocket Ballistic 3.0 jacket

Does anyone have any experience of or opinion about the Joe Rocket Ballistic 3.0 jacket, particularly with respect to waterproofness?

I have a Joe Rocket ballistic 3.0 touring jacket and have been using it for about 3 years. It was a bit stiff at first but has softened a bit. I used it all last summer for dual sport riding around Vermont USA in all weather. I have ridden through light rain, medium, and heavy down pours and I was impressed that it kept me dry. I dont know how it would be in an 8 hour down pour but so far it works well.

Import tax to the uk from USA?
 

I just looked at a site newenough.com which sells cheap priced Joe Rocket jackets etc. The prices are very cheap and delivery to UK with UPS will be cheap also about £20 . It then mentions there may be import duty taxes charged on delivery which you have to pay to the UPS delivery employee but charged by the UK government!!!
Anyone have experience of these charges ? How much are they for a jacket for example to UK from the USA? Who do I contact to find out? I ve e mailed the website to ask them but I bet they say they don t know !

By the way the price before taxes mentioned was about $169 for a Joe Rocket Ballistic 6.0 touring jacket plus about $40 shipping costs. If anyone knows where I can match this price in the UK for this jacket or advise on a better jacket for this sort of price let me know also please!
