I use Warm and Safe https://www.warmnsafe.com/ heated gear. It's confortable, relieable and easy to use. It also allows me to miimize layering layers, so, not a lot of bulk. I wired it into my battery tender plug (SAE plug) with a 10a fuse directly to the battery. My current setup is 8 years old and works great. However, there is newer, more energy efficient heated gear from Warm and Safe available now.

It's also worth mentioning the Exotogg inflatable vest (https://exotogg.com) plays nicely with heated gear, essentially keeping the heat in where you need it. You can turn down your electric gear, and if anything bad happens electrically, you have an emergency backup so that you don't die.

I HAVE one of the heated shirts, and it works REALLY well! Good material, machine washes ;) and packs small. Excellent overall heat, I can definitely recommend it. The only flaw is it's the first layer, so an all day thing, not put it on when you need it. For commuters perfect, for travellers dealing with varying conditions, mountain passes etc, I think a little less so.
