Harley Davidson boots
Does anyone know what the quality is like on these? I like the look of their boots but I don't know whether they offer good protection. How do they compare to, say, motocross boots for protection?
Something like these: http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US Thanks, guys. |
HD makes bikes, well some of the bike, and as long as your check clears you can put that logo on anything but a bike. I like to stay with well known brands that make boots.
But you can try them there made in china by the way not that that is bad. Amazon.com: Harley-Davidson Men's Hustin Boot: Shoes |
Harley Boots
I have a pair of boots exactly the same as the ones in the link. Very comfortable
and good looking, BUT in my opinion are more of a "dress" boot, ok for riding my harley when i'm not going far:mchappy:. In no way are they going to give you the same protection as a MX boot or any other m/cycle boot for that matter, they have no ankle support or shin protection and are made of soft leather. A good boot for wearing under jeans etc for a night out not for Adv riding (IMHO) Hope that helps Steve |
Thats great help, thanks :)

They look smart but functionally are crap and poor value for money.
Between us we have bought about 4 pairs of Harley boots and we don't wear any of them now. They leak in the slightest rain. One pair we have which were the most expensive have a lumpy seam which you don't notice when riding but when you're off the bike and doing even a small amount of walking over a few hours becomes extremely uncomfortable. Just because they've got a Harley logo and cost twice as much as anything else doesn't mean they are any good. |
