Enduro/MX Trousers
Hi all. May be an old subject, but looking for cool and tough trousers in this style to wear instead of my rukka trousers.
They tuck into boots better, allow knee gaurds underneath, but I want some that are light coloured but not to many names on ! Perhaps BMW Ralley trousers without liners , in which case why not just wear my rukkas !? Guess I am looking for the ultimate but any suggestions Dave |
I have a similar problem. I have short legs, big stomach, so all the touring pants are too long and the padding is in the wrong places ie. knee pads become shin guards.
I have been looking for MX pants, plain etc. I had a look thru the O'Neal catalogue and they do a Freeride pant. Baggy, cordura(Denier?) and plain. Don't know if they are available here but am going to have a look!! Maybe some help? Andrew |
Moose makes MX/Offroad gear that's far less garish than the other manufacturers'.
Try the Moose Monarch Pass or Expedition pant - no graphicss, available in light grey. Both are reportedly waterproof, though I don't know exactly how waterproof. |
Have a look at Hood Jeans - they have a web site. I have a pair of their Off road style pants. They're ok - not waterproof.

Have you had a look at Acerbis 04 Profile Pants?
|
Im quite a larger fellow and I recomend Acerbis Clima (or Klima) enduro trousers. plain black with acerbis written at the bottom of the legs. Cordura and I have crash tested mine on alpine tarmac. They also look quite good.
here is a picture. They no longer have the blue trim: http://www.angliahomefinder.co.uk/ac...Legwear_7.html |
Direct answer to your question: Draggin jeans! these allow your body armour and can be tucked into the boots. great fit jeans, and ahev good protective element.
When it rains you get soaked! so you will need rain pants. I suspect that you wanted more protection. Good luck with that quest. |
mx trousers are cool but have no protection against thorns and stone's flying up to it. Yes, my rally pants is thicker and a bit warmer but is also my warm around town trouser.

yes to aussie draggin jeans
have been using mine for a couple of years , kevlar in all the right places no knee pads but you can wear then out as as well ,and yes you need your rain pants check out there web site ,they tow a guy on his arse along a drag strip behind a bike
